Character Name; The 7th Generation Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon: "Aigis"
Canon; Persona 3 with link
Canon Point; During events of P4A
Age; 12
House; Since the beginning Aigis always seems to follow after her duties and orders, it's an impressive feat of loyalty that allows her to. Of course as a mechanical girl it only seems right that she chooses to. She fights for what she believes is to be good, to what she learns is important, and that resolve is strengthen with the ties she makes. She sees that if she's able to help many then that is what she will do.
Power; Damage Drain.
Personality; "The sole purpose of my existence is to destroy shadows. For that reason, I was given a personality and a persona."
To start off, Aigis is nothing more than a machine, but with a special property – a soul. A soul is mandatory in being able to receive a Persona, and therefore Aigis has a personality like a human's, in the sense that she has intact feelings, flaws, strengths and weaknesses. However, before she was able to evolve in personality she fell into an accident which could have ended with her downfall; a face-to-face battle with Death itself. She tried her hardest, but ended up failing falling into an unconsciousness sleep for ten years.
That moment stays intact even after she wakes up, feeling the need and sense of responsibility for this person whom she forced Death into. All memories and most things connecting to that incident were gone so she couldn’t exactly explain why she had felt this strong sense of duty. Nonetheless, she was still a machine who now had a goal and ended up escaping to search for the purpose of her life. This sense of responsibility can also be seen as guilt, it’s all that seems to drive Aigis forward before she meets Minato, the protagonist. Over time spent in SEES, Aigis begins to change. Her personality develops, learning by observing others and getting questions answered about the world around them and why people acted the way they did. She begins to act less like a machine and more like a human. Even though in a school setting she stood out and risked public knowledge of her non-human status, her responsibility to stay by Minato's side still fought over any dangers and tribulations. With a goal in her mind, Aigis will do anything to follow through.
Seeing as it was how she was originally built, she does start to develop more and more emotions. However, she goes above and beyond with that and begins to have a part of her that you can recognize as her, as Aigis. Unlike older models in which they made their machines with personalities taken from volunteers (as seen in P4A with Labrys), Aigis is made purely from scratch so time definitely comes into play when it comes to her development. However, she seems to be doing very well among the SEES investigation. After she encounters Ryoji she lets go and gets rid of any emotions and seems to return to her original machine-like self. She starts to understand everything she had forgotten. Taking a month of recovery, her personality was a bit unstable, but mostly she had been worrying over her friends- she wanted the best for them so she had a wish for them to destroy Ryoji so they wouldn't suffer. She completely misunderstands their “human” reasons regarding why they don’t want to forget and kill him. After all, if you could live in bliss then why wouldn't they? Moments like these show that she isn't truly human in the end. Though as her friends explain, she starts to understand, regaining her personality again with her understanding of what humans feel in certain situations.
A selfless “person” like Aigis is ready to do anything for her friends, Minato above all. In a single second she'd do anything if it meant ensuring their safety, so she finally stood by their decision. With Minato’s death, Aigis delivers one heartfelt speech, of how she has come to understand everything; what it means to live, to not run away, and to accept the inevitable but still give it her best try. She explains how protecting others wasn't just an order, but something she wanted to do for her own reasons, and gained strength because of it. Her true purpose was to protect Minato; to be by his side for as long as she could be, and even now she still wants to and will continue to do so. During this moment she truly thinks and feels human. She felt accepted, and all these good emotions like happiness, delight, even if her body was a machine she still felt… warm. It was short-lived, that moment, as she felt her original purpose had gone.
Since then she had forced herself back to the lab rather than continuing her studies, pushing herself to deny all will of her humanity and urges to live towards it. This is because of after Minato's death she promptly locks herself up into isolation. As she takes his place with the “Wild Card” ability to be the "leader" of the group, her puzzlement and lack of understanding is apparent but she still tries. And through the events she starts to remember that side of her. The curiosity of learning, the understanding of human behavior, simply being part of them and becoming a role in their group was enough satisfaction. She denied herself that at the time of his death, feeling she didn't deserve it. But that was denying a part of her and originating back to a machine. She was getting rid of the part of her that Minato, and the others, helped her discover.
She found that the pain of losing someone and the feeling of abandonment that came with it was too much for her. It frightened her too much, and she left everything as a result. But she starts to understand that this too is a part of being human, and she starts to live this new life she was given by looking forward to the every new day.
Fast forward two years later, and it's easy to see that Aigis has matured quite a bit in her personality. In the plane hijack scene you can see she's always true to her word, even swift and secure in handling dangerous situations. As always she's a very trustworthy and dependable person to rely on. Her calculations always aim for the best and reasonable approach to lower the odds of any trouble arising. Being sufficient and orderly makes her role within the Shadow Operatives go through things smoothly and get them done. Aigis takes her role with ease and experience, acting out orders after all is in her program and something she chooses to do now. And while she ended with being more human before, she seems to be less so now – but not by much! She still appears and acts more human, possibly even more fluidly than before, but her understanding of things can clearly be seen that she is still in the bridge of learning. Some things she doesn't understand and will still question and ask, but at least she's still ever open-minded about who she is and full of acceptance. She can even speak with emotion, such as concern, worry and even sincerity. Even if she may have not been continuing her studies and busy on the job- that doesn't mean it's taken her a step back.
She bears many close ties with relationships, but is open to making more friends. After all, that's how you live to be human right? Making many connections and learning more about the world? Even now she is ever eager to learn about others.
Simply put, Aigis started off as nothing but a simple machine that followed orders, but even then she had "something" to drive her forward – fighting and destroying Shadows. It eventually evolved into determination and an urge to protect and be loyal which is proven through her strong loyalty to her friends, fighting for them with everything she's got. She developed emotions, full of compassion and loyalty and the urge to learn more about everything. Though she had troubles, confused feelings with herself, she managed to learn the concept of living thanks to the protagonist and even understand who it is that she is - who Aigis is. She's more than just a machine and she proves that every day.

Ah, so it appears this is the use of this jewelry, rather than of the kind to look "pretty".. but of communication.
[a nod] I believe I am starting to understand. In that case.. for those watching, allow me to introduce myself. I am Aigis.
I am still accumulating to my surroundings, however I feel that I'm starting to get a better sense of what's going on. Some of you have offered a great deal of information to explain the situation, and while it's been proven to be quite useful.. [a slight troubled look shows] Some things, I still do not quite understand.
If they are requesting our help, why do they feel the need to force and drag us here? Doesn't that make it seem that there is no "choice" in the matter? Not to mention unfair to take us from our own troubles we were dealing with. I hate to leave my duties unfinished behind.. especially with the consequences that could be lead without my help.
[slight head shake] These "Gods" that bring us here, what help are they seeking from us to be exact? I don't understand how much help I may be of in order to bring.. [ visual perceptual properties in one's sight-- ] color.
In any case, any help will be much appreciated. Now, if you'll excuse me..
